Method. Line 2 compares Cash Report revenue against GL rows typed Revenue; Line 5 compares against rows typed Expenditure. Line 1 compares against the Final Cash Report column of the Estimated Cash Position Report, which PED rounds to whole dollars — hence the separate Line 1 tolerance.
Fund roll-up. Funds in the GL Detail and the Estimated Cash Position Report are taken from the first segment of the account code and rolled into the Cash Report’s columns. A fund that has its own column keeps it (31100, 31200, 31400, 31700, 31701, 31703). Everything else combines into its series total — 24101, 24106, 24154 and 24189 into 24000; 25153 into 25000; 26156 and 26222 into 26000; 27107, 27109 and 27536 into 27000; 28211 and 28221 into 28000; 29102 into 29000. The chain. PED builds Line 2 and Line 5 from the OBMS Actuals Rollup Reports, which are themselves built from the general ledger. So the tie-out follows that chain in both directions — Cash Report against rollup, rollup against GL — and names whichever leg breaks. A fund where the form and the rollup agree but the GL does not is a ledger question; a fund where the rollup and the GL agree but the form does not is a keying question.
Rollup columns. YTD is cumulative through the quarter end and is what Lines 2 and 5 must equal. Actuals is that quarter’s activity alone, which is why each rollup upload carries its own quarter tag — comparing it against the GL for the same three months tells you which quarter a year-to-date break entered in.
Scope. Year to date runs July 1 through the selected quarter end, matching how the Cash Report accumulates. Quarter only isolates a single quarter for period-level review.
Privacy. Every file is read with the browser’s FileReader and parsed in page memory. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or transmitted.
